University Students Partner with Amazon Connection Carbon to Develop Senior Theses.

Environmental Engineering students from the State University of Pará (UEPA) and Forestry Engineering undergraduates from UFRA are currently working on their Senior Theses with a focus on sustainability and environmental preservation. The aim of these theses is to deepen the practical knowledge of the students regarding Lidar technology in carbon quantification and carbon stock in forest floor litter.

Amazon Connection Carbon, a company specialized in carbon credits, is supporting the students in the completion of their Senior Theses, providing an environment for knowledge exchange and experience sharing between the market and the university.

The partnership aims to promote science and research as a means to drive innovation and the economy in the region.

The partnership with Amazon Connection Carbon reinforces this commitment and offers the undergraduates the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world scenarios.

The students' initiative and Amazon Connection Carbon's involvement serve as an example of how the collaboration between academia and the market can generate mutual benefits and contribute to the sustainable development of the Amazon region.

The appreciation of science and research is essential for the region's progress and environmental preservation. Stay tuned to our blog to learn more about this and other initiatives related to sustainability and environmental preservation!
